Skilled Nursing Services

Skilled nursing services are available for those who may suffer from a prolonged acute or chronic illness or may have recently been injured or undergone surgery. (These residents are stable, but continue to require assessment and treatment.) In addition, the resident may require nutritional support or assistance with self-care and activities of daily living.

Ombudsman Program
A long-term care ombudsman helps residents of a nursing facility and residents of an assisted living facility resolve complaints. Help provided by an ombudsman is confidential and free of charge. To speak with an ombudsman, a person may call the toll-free number 1-800-252-2412.
